Scottish 6 Days
The Scottish 6 Days takes place every two years. It takes place about the first week of August (to tie in with both Scottish and English school holidays). It runs: Sun, Mon, Tues; then a rest day; and then Thurs, Fri, Sat.
There are several thousand participants - and accommodation tends to get booked up early. FVO always sends a large contingent.
2007
The Scottish 6 Days in 2007 will be based on Speyside, and will run from 5th August - 11th August 2007.
2009
FVO has been asked to be the joint central organiser's with TAY of the 2009 Scottish Six Day. This will be a large commitment for the club. The aim is for the event to be in "South Perthshire" (roughly). Planning is currently in the early stages -- looking first for areas and then for the town or village that will be the Event Centre.
