BOF Membership Scheme
I attach a paper from BOF which includes an extract from the BOF AGM Minutes. I summarise my understanding of the implications:
- Existing BOF members become BOF National Members
- Orienteers who are not members of BOF will now have to become BOF Local Members
- BOF will issue membership cards to all
- The cards will be needed to obtain discounts at events
- There will be pressure to renew membership for 2007 early
Two more papers are expected from BOF on the implications of their new membership scheme in the autumn

Club Policies
These are general good practice club policies, which the club requires its members to adhere to. These have been drawn up so that the club can meet its requirements under various bits of legislation including - in particular - those on data privacy and child protection. For a background to understand why it is necessary for the club to have such policies and to require its members to adhere to them - read the articles in the section below: "The Bermuda Affair"
