Wine tasting

Dave Coustick is organising a winetasting:The first of our new series of social events will be a wine tasting - "The Best of the Med" - to be held at WoodWinters in Bridge of Allan, opposite the Allanwater Cafe, Thursday 16th March 7.30pm.

It is expected to last approx 2 hours and cost is £12.50 per head.

Please let Dave know if you are coming by end of February.

There will a bit of bread and olive oil to nibble on but otherwise no food. Dave suggests a fish supper at the Allanwater Cafe at 6.45pm.

Junior FVO Training

Maureen Brown is organising a junior coaching weekend based on Stirling the weekend of 25th/26th February. It's for members of FVO + the Scottish Junior Squad + "invited guests".

The training will be targeted at orange level and above. There will be a range of short exercises to practise different techniques.

The expected turn out is for around 45 kids -- but there will be plenty of coaches around to help.

Saturday's training will be in the woods of Touch Estate, starting at around noon, and Sunday's will be in Callendar Park, Falkirk, from around 10am until 1pm.
