North win JIA Joust
North of Scotland turned around an eight point overnight lead to win the Junior Inter-Area Championship by 20 points from holders West at Kenmore, Perthshire.
All Good Things...
Despite four course wins and a Golden Shoe performance from Rachel Hendrie, Forth Valley's ten year winning streak in the Compass Sport Cup came to an end at Virtuous Lady, Devon, as the team finished runners-up to Bristol OK.

Taming the Wolf
The Highland Wolf two-day event is one of the main highlights of the autumn orienteering calendar in Scotland, and Forth Valley athletes turned in some top-class performances to annex 12 podium places, including seven race wins.
S6D 6 - A Hundred Medals and All and All
Fifteen series medals added to 17 stage medals from the final day at the Scottish 6 Days Orienteering Festival to bring the FVO haul for the meet to a stellar total of 106.
S6D 5 - Grace (not) Under Pressure
Grace Molloy captured the W18L title at the Scottish 6 Days Orienteering festival with her third gold medal of the week. Grace's winning time of 50.00 was 3 1/2 minutes up on Clyde's Emma Wilson, and with co-leader Fiona Bunn retiring mid course, Grace's points total can't be beaten.
S6D 4 - The Chris and Dixie Show
Martin Dean wrapped up the M60S title at the Scottish 6 Days Orienteering Festival with two days to spare, as he took his 4th gold medal of the week. Dixie finished 3 1/2 minutes up on Blair Young (TintO) in an excellent 20.07.
S6D 2 - Three Golds at Balfour
Forth Valley Orienteers were again amongst the honours at the Scottish Six Days Orienteering Festival in Aberdeenshire, with three golds the pick of a 12 medal haul.
S6D 1 - Well Worth a Tanar
There were no fewer than 17 medals for FVO athletes on the opening day of the Scottish Six Days Orienteering Festival, on a great course at Glen Tanar, Aberdeenshire.
Relay Great for FVO
Forth Valley Flyers added the British Mixed Sprint Relay crown to an already-bulging 2017 trophy cabinet with a 71 second victory margin at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk.
The Italian Job
The tiny Italian village of Transacqua proved a happy hunting ground for Dan Stansfield, as he returned from long-term injury to claim double sprint victories at the Primerio-O Festival in the Dolomites.
