There was a mix of perennial winners and new faces on top of the podium as FVO athletes matched their 2022 performance by claiming four national titles at the British Championships at Cold Ash, Newbury.
Hammond Hammers New Record
Forth Valley Orienteers' young star James Hammond broke new ground as he became the youngest-ever Scottish elite champion, with victory in the Middle distance championship which was held at Beecraigs Country Park, Linlithgow.
Highland Fling sees five with the win
FVO athletes made a major impression on the opening Scottish Orienteering League race of the season at Errochty, near Blair Atholl, as they won half of the available courses on the way to nine podium finishes.

International Roundup 1: Jones the Speed
Forth Valley orienteering star Kris Jones helped Great Britain to its first medal in nine years as the Mixed Sprint Relay team claimed silver at the World Championships in Denmark.
