West is the Best

EuroMeeting comes to Stirling
On behalf of the International Orienteering Federation, and in conjunction with WOC 2024, Forth Valley Orienteers is delighted to invite elite orienteers from around the world for international sprint orienteering in and around Stirling.
Golden Day on Coxet Hill
What an absolutely fabulous time we all had today at Coxet Hill, as we celebrated the 50th birthday of the club with a very special relay event overlooking the area where the club was founded.
Super Fly Guys
FVO Flyers claimed a battling bronze medal in the final major championship race of the year to wrap up the overall Men's British Relay League title for 2023.
FVO shoots to Score
Forth Valley Orienteers had a memorable day at the Scottish Score Championships in Grantown on Spey, as the club's athletes claimed eight national titles on a 16 medal day in Anagach woods.

Big success in WEE races
The 23rd FVO Wednesday Evening series came to a conclusion this week, with a mixture of old and new names on top of the leaderboard after the 13 race series.
Juniors retain Jamie Stevenson Trophy
FVO's junior team turned in a sterling performance right across the board to successfully defend the Jamie Stevenson Trophy on “home soil” at Plean, by recording the second-highest points total in the history of the competition.
Major award for FVO stalwart
We were delighted this week to learn that our club captain Jon Cross had been recognised by Scottish Orienteering for his exemplary work over a large number of years with the award of the sport's highest honour, the President's Medal, at the federation's Annual General Meeting.
Seven Up at the Relays
A magnificent seven medals closed out the 2023 Scottish Championship weekend for the FVO posse, with success right across the board.
Medals by the barrowload at Scottish Champs
Having irreparably burst the club wheelbarrow at the 2022 Scottish Championships, we're now reduced to hiring agricultural machinery to haul away the medals from the 2023 version at Creag Mhich., as there were 32 medals in all from 67 starters, ten of them A class golds!
Champions Crowned on Coronation Day
The orienteering championship season concluded with a double header of British Sprint and Middle distance events in Northern Ireland, and FVO athletes were once again to the fore, winning three titles amongst seven podium finishes.
JK 2023 Day 4 - A Fistful of Medals
A fistful of relay medals concluded a very successful Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering for FVO on a somewhat soggy day at Bigland.

There was a spectacular seven overall podiums for FVO athletes at the 2023 Jan Kjellström International Festival of Orienteering following the Long race at Bigland.

Strong middle day at JK'23 for FVO, as the team picked up eight A class medals on a fine afternoon of racing at High Dam.
