FVO help Scotland win VHI

Strong runs by Steve, Martin, Beccy and Brad helped Scotland to a narrow overall victory by 2 points against England in the VHI - the first in 20 years. The full story available at VHI win. The team were clearly helped by the Scottish Team mascot - young Jamie.

FVO's Jamie Stevenson - already British Champion for his age class - became the Scottish under 16 Fell Running Champion on at Ben Lomond on Saturday. 2008 Scottish Sprint Championships

An exciting afternoon, with a fantastic finish as the seeded runners came in towards the end of the afternoon, with a "photo finish" failing to split FVO's Ross McLennan and Douglas Tullie from EUOC who both finished in just 18.31; the Womens Open champion, also representing EUOC, was Becky Carlyle.

British Middle Distance Champion

Abi wins Glasgow Parks Race

Abi Longhurst was the overall womens' winner in the 9th STAG Glasgow Parks Championship. The three races were held at Pollok Country Park, Tollcross Park and Cathkin Braes Country Park. Abi won the third race, and was overall winner by a clear minute. Full results on the STAG website
